Out and About
D's got a new job, so we went out last night to celebrate. I am not really in tip top condition at the moment, I went to see my GP on Thursday and he tells me i have a sinus infection and gave me about a million pills to take. One of them looks just like e, it's a pale yellow triangle (also looks suspiciously like smints) and i was a bit nervous taking them through Macau customs, because even though they are legit, they look dodgy.

Anyway, I am doped to the gills and quite lethargic at the moment, but I love D and wanted to go out, so we were at Azure at 11. The boys looked a pair, in matching tsubis and bogan t's. I went to buy some drinks, I was going to go non-alcoholic, but the bartender bought me some shots, so i couldn't say no. We were joined by Helena and Viv, who are lovely. Helena made the very true observation, "There are really a lot of short men out tonight". Max was entertaining us, demonstrating the club dancing he'd been doing at his brother-in-laws bachelor party (a night he only has partial recall of). When D and A turned up we pushed off to Qube, but it had a private party, so we went to Pi on Wyndham st. It's up on the 29th floor, and it was packed when we got there, but luckily A knows the owner really well, so we had no problems getting in.

There were some really unfortunate white guys dancing on the floor. One guy was super tall and had the least rhythm of anyone i've ever seen. Like a praying mantis trying to dance. They tried to chat us up, but we ignored them and danced away. I lasted to 2am and left the boys to it.
